On Saturday the 30th March the Zonta Club of Sydney held a wonderful event – our Jazz in the Crypt evening, held in the Crypt of St James church in the CBD of Sydney.
Our guests who attended enjoyed a wonderful night of jazz music from the Steph Russell Trio along with wine and cheese in the beautiful setting within the crypt of St James.
All reports from the evening indicate a great night was had by all, and the club will be looking to hold this event annually. Funds raised from the evening will go towards the clubs service projects, including breast cushions and birthing kits, services which assist keeping women out of prison, our awards and scholarships (which you can read about here) and donations to Lou’s Place in Sydney.
Thanks to everyone who attended our event, and we can announce that close to $4000 was raised for these excellent causes. We look forward to holding the event again in the years to come!
