How quickly time flies by – we are already in April and so our bi-monthly publication for District 24, The Voice, is out again.
This edition is jam packed with so many great activities that our fellow Zontians across NSW and Canberra have undertaken, as well as awards and advocacy projects.
It’s fantastic to see that the Zonta Club of the Northern Beaches were awarded the Women of the Year award from Pittwater Council on International Women’s Day – a big congratulations to them for the award and their ongoing advocacy for women.
Also great to see is the newest club to join (or return to) District 24 – the Zonta Club of the Blue Mountains which was relaunched in March. Along with this relaunch, the District continues to expand our Z clubs, with three more schools considering or close to starting a club for students to join in the great work of Zonta International.
Along with all the great work of other Zonta Clubs, the Zonta Club of Sydney has also been busy, with our International Women’s Day breakfast (read about it here) and our fantastic fundraising evening, the Jazz in the Crypt evening which was held on the 30th March.
To read all about what has been happening across Zonta District 24, you can download the latest issue of The Voice The Voice – Issue 5 2018-2020. Happy reading!
