This year, International Women’s Day will fall on Monday 8th March 2021. This year’s theme is “Choose to Challenge”.
We choose to challenge gender bias and inequality.
We choose to challenge sterotypes.
We choose to challenge all forms of gender inequity.
In the past few years we have held our own International Women’s Day event, and this year we will again be holding our breakfast, this year at Cafe 8/9, Pier 8/9 Hickson Road Pyrmont. The breakfast will be held on Monday 8th March 2021.
Our guest speaker will be Ros Strong AM, Vice Patron, Sydney Community Foundation and founder of The Maybanke Fund, which supports women’s and children’s rights especially targeting their rights to education. Ros is also a long time member of the Zonta Club of Sydney.
Tickets are $35 which includes choice of a breakfast meal and hot drink from the menu.
