At our club meeting in November 2020, members of the Zonta Club of Sydney welcomed Jacquie Love, the founder of social enterprise Secret Sisterhood as our guest speaker. Those present both in person and on Zoom heard how Jacquie founded the organisation which distributes 100% of all profits to charities that support ending gender inequality.

A trip by Jacquie to India in 2016 with “Stop the Traffik”, a charity that works in the red-light districts of Delhi and Mumbai to rescue and rehabilitate girls from sex trafficking, was a wakeup call to do something about it. On her return to Sydney, she and her partner Colin decided to start a business that created beautiful products, services and events for women which distributed 100% of all profits to women’s charities.
So the Secret Sisterhood jewellery range came to be.
Jacquie has very kindly offered to donate 25% of any jewellery sales to members of Zonta back to our club. If you would like to purchase jewellery which helps women’s charities, helps the Zonta Club of Sydney and is beautiful, use this link to make your purchase
