Zonta International has announced there will be a new pilot program to encourage women to pursue education, career opportunities and positions of leadership in technology.
Full details of these scholarships will be available in December, and we will ensure details are shared when they are released. The scholarships will be open to women studying information technology degree or a closely related program. Those not studying at university may still be eligible to apply.
As the world becomes increasingly digitised, it is important that women have roles in all areas of technology and technological advancement.
If you are a woman studying in these fields, or know of one, watch this space to find out how you may be able to apply for a scholarship of up to $US2000 for each Zonta District (in our case District 24, covering NSW and ACT) and six international scholarships valued at $US8000.
