Time flies – and it is already the 1st of October again. Which means – our gingerbread house fundraiser has begun! From 1st October to the 30th November you can purchase gingerbread house kits and support our fundraiser. Kits will be posted to you directly.
We will be encouraging all our friends, families, colleagues and Zonta supporters everywhere to buy a gingerbread house kit (or two, or three) again this year to support our ongoing projects to help build a better world for women and girls. As with last year, a portion of every sale will go towards our projects, which include education awards for women in secondary and tertiary education, providing breast care cushions to women who undergo breast cancer surgery at the Mater Hospital, supporting women affected by the criminal justice system as well as supporting the Zonta International projects such as ending child marriage and educating girls in countries such as Madagascar and Peru.
The kits are from the Gingerbread Folk, a company based in the Blue Mountains of NSW. The kits are
- vegan (dairy and egg free)
- nut free
- palm oil free
- have no added colours, flavours or preservatives
- have a compostable wrapper
- made in Australia
- kosher
- Gluten free kits are available
