In all the planning and excitement about our Zonta Centenary lunch (which was an absolutely wonderful day on Friday and which I will write about soon!) it almost slipped past to remind everyone that it is
ONLY 6 WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!
Which means it is only TWO weeks until the Zonta Club of Sydney’s annual Abbey’s Bookshop shopping evening. The wonderful people at Abbey’s Bookshop on York St in the city have once again agreed to open their doors late for us on a Wednesday evening, so that everyone we know can come along, pay a small cover charge ($10) and buy books. The Zonta Club of Sydney will receive 5% of the sales on the evening which goes towards our many projects both international and local, such as Let Us Learn Madagascar and our local Keeping Women out of Prison projects, so we encourage you to buy up big! If you would like to be prepared, you can search for what you would like on the Abbey’s website here.
In return for your donation, you get finger food, wine, and the chance to peruse and purchase all your Christmas presents!
So please come along on Wednesday 27th November from 6pm to support the Zonta Club of Sydney.
