Time for another issue of The Voice to share with us all what has been happening across the Zonta Clubs of District 24. Everyone is of course preparing for our Conference, which is now only a month away and we look forward to seeing lots of sharing of photos and information about both the serious part of the meeting and the fun and fellowship for all the delegates. Wonderful to see that some of the young women who have been awarded various Zonta prizes and scholarships will be attending conference, along with a number of members of the Z Clubs across the state – these young women are the future of Zonta!
In the mean time though you can read about what has been happening across NSW and the ACT in all things Zontian. You may notice that our club, Zonta Club of Sydney managed to get a double feature in this issue after being inadvertently missed in the previous issue.
More breast cushions and birthing kits have been made and packed across the clubs to assist women across Australia and the world. Other wonderful efforts from our sister clubs include the Vintage and Collectibles Fair from the Zonta Club of Botany Bay, which sounds like it was a roaring success, and the Women In Service Dinner which took place this week, hosted by the Zonta Club of Central Coast. Zonta Club of Nepean Valley held a Women Alive event which involved speakers and entertainment, with 90 attendees which is an excellent attendance. Also coming up is the movie night to be held at the Cremorne Orpheum hosted by Zonta Club of North Sydney Breakfast, and which sounds like it will be a wonderful evening.
