We’re very excited this year as we are doing our Abbey’s Bookshop fundraiser a little differently – this year instead of a single night shopping event you have the luxury of doing your shopping any time in the next TWO WEEKS! The very generous folk at Abbey’s will donate a percentage of all sales in the next two weeks when you mention ZONTA or Zonta Club of Sydney. In person, just mention it to your sales person and if buying online then please write Zonta in the comments section.

They also have a comprehensive selection of books in languages other than English, and all sorts of useful texts. So get along to the shop on York St (opposite the QVB) or browse online and fill up your baskets with lots of goodies for Christmas.
Just in time for Christmas I can see there is a new Jane Harper novel, a new case for the Thursday Murder Club and a new thriller from the author of “Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone”. There is also an update on Bill Bryson’s “A Short History of Nearly Everything” (2.0). There’s history, politics, sci-fi, kids books – anything you could want.
If you are in a book club – order up all the books on the reading list for the year. For your kids and grandkids order in all their school texts as well as some lighter reading. Buy some Christmas crochet or your 2026 diary – anything you need you can find it here.
