The National Council of Women NSW represent a range of women’s organisations – and are a part of the National Council of Women Australia and the International Council of Women. The Zonta Club of Sydney are an affiliate organisation, and are able to provide one member to the executive. At present, the Zonta representative to NCWNSW is Rosemary Abrahams. We also have another club member, Dr Angeline Low, who serves on the executive of NCWNSW in an individual member.
Recently Angeline and Rosemary were able to attend the Presbyterian Womens Association Conference which was held at Presbyterian Ladies College as part of their roles with the National Council of Women NSW. They noted it was a very welcoming time with the outgoing moderator, Rev Lyle Sims being present. The CEO of Jericho Road, Mrs Elizabeth McLean spoke, and both Angeline and Rosemary also had an opportunity to address the meeting and promote Zonta and NCWNSW activities for women.
